General Rules

Please respect speed limits. Drive slowly, as there may be children playing or animals in the area. Please be cautious!
The privacy of our guests and neighbors is very important to us. Therefore, walking on the roads, invading neighbors’ properties, or parking outside our property is NOT allowed. Help us maintain a good relationship with the neighbors!
Parties are NOT allowed! If you want to go out and have fun, ask the concierge for the best places to visit in Bacalar.
Moderate music is allowed until 11:00 PM. Help us respect the tranquility of our neighbors and preserve the calm of the surrounding ecosystem.
Throwing trash in common areas and the lagoon is prohibited. Guests must collect any trash generated in recreational areas. Help us keep the environment clean and free of pollutants!
Trash must be separated into organic and inorganic. Together, we can care for our planet!
Help us protect the flora and fauna of our ecosystem. Do not harm the animals or plants around us.
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. We cannot guarantee early entry. If there is a departure the same day, cleaning time is required. Check-out is at 12:00 PM. Any delay will incur an additional charge for one night. Please plan accordingly!
Upon arrival, a credit card will be required to open a voucher as a guarantee for the furniture and equipment in the place. Any damage or loss will be charged to the guest. If any object is broken, damaged, or lost, the guest must cover its value. If no damage occurs, the security deposit will be refunded upon departure.
Mi Querido Bacalar is a 100% smoke-free space; therefore, smoking inside the house is NOT allowed. Designated areas such as the terrace, balconies, or rooftop garden are available for smoking. This also complies with Article 65 bis of the General Tobacco Control Law; smoking in areas other than those mentioned may incur a fine of $4,000 MXN.
It is very important to dispose of toilet paper or any other objects in the trash bins. This will help avoid damage to our septic tank and allow us to provide proper treatment for the wastewater on our property.
At Mi Querido Bacalar, we care for the environment, so we ask that you use biodegradable soaps and shampoos.
It is strictly prohibited to lie down, push, or walk on the edge of the jacuzzi. Help us prevent accidents!
If you wish to use the fireplace or jacuzzi, simply request it; our service staff will take care of it for you! Note: For your safety, guests are not allowed access to the jacuzzi controls or the fireplace operation.
If you leave the house, remember to turn off the lights and air conditioning. Let’s support responsible energy consumption on the planet!
To ensure the best safety for our guests, the house will be monitored 24/7 by a closed-circuit camera system.
