House Rules
- Respect the speed limits. It is important to drive slowly as there may be children playing or animals crossing. Please be careful!
- For us, the privacy of our guests and our neighbors is very important. For this reason, it is NOT permitted to walk along the roads, invade the houses of the neighbors or park outside our property. Collaborate with us to have a healthy relation between neighbors!
- PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED! If you want to go out, ask your concierge, he will suggest the best options for fun in Bacalar.
- Music with moderate volume is allowed until 11:00 pm. We want to respect the tranquility with our neighbors and preserve the ecosystem that surrounds us.
- It is forbidden to throw garbage in common areas and in the lagoon. Likewise, visitors must collect garbage generated in recreational areas. Help us keep the environment clean and free of contaminants!
- Garbage should be separated into organic and inorganic. Together we can take care of our planet!
- Please help us protect the flora and fauna of our ecosystem. Do not mistreat the animals or the plants that surround us.
- Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. We can not guarantee that it could be earlier. If there is an exit on the same day, cleaning time is required.
- The schedule to check out is at 12:00 pm. Any delay has an extra cost of one night. Take your precautions!
- Upon arrival you will be asked for a credit card to open a boucher in warranty for the furniture and equipment of the place. Any damage or loss will be charge to the guest. If any object is broken, damage or lost, the guest must cover the value of it. If no damages are incurred your Security Deposit will be returned upon your check out.
- Mi Querido Bacalar is a 100% smoke-free space, so smoking is NOT allowed inside the house. By being a private property we have assigned spaces such as the terrace, the balconies or the roof garden, where you can smoke without any problem. This is also established in article 65 bis, in the General Tobacco Control Law, smoking in areas other than those mentioned can earn you a fine of $4000 MX.
- It is very important to throw the toilet paper or any other object in the garbage cans. In this way, we will avoid that our septic tank will be damaged and grant the adequate treatment to the residual waters of our property.
- In Mi Querido Bacalar we take care of the environment, that’s why we ask you to use biodegradable soaps and shampoos.
- It is strictly prohibited to lie down, push or walk on the edge of the jacuzzi. Help us avoid accidents!
- Do you want to turn on the fireplace or the jacuzzi? Let us know, our service people will do it for you! NOTE: For your safety, guests are NOT allowed to handle the fireplace or the jacuzzi controls.
- If you leave the house, please remember to turn off lights and air conditioners, let’s support the responsible consumption of energy on the planet!
- Pets are NOT allowed. We know that it is very difficult to leave our mates at home, but for this occasion, it will be necessary. Help us respect this rule, otherwise you will have to pay a mandatory fine of $4000 MX.
- To grant a better security to our visitors; The house will be monitored 24 hours a day by a closed circuit camera system.

Ya sea si viajas en familia o con amigos, este lugar es perfecto.
El servicio desde antes de la reservación, hasta el último momento fueron inigualables.
Muchas gracias a Aymme, Tania, Doña Luz y Sonia por hacer de nuestra experiencia un 10.

No matter if you’re traveling with your family or with your friends, there is no doubt this is the perfect place.
The service and help before, during and after our stay was just wonderful.

Samuel nos ayudo en todo lo que necesitábamos. Tania nuestra concierge estuvo siempre atenta a nuestras solicitudes.La convivencia con la naturaleza es lo mejor , el ver pasar a los changos , las amenidades del lugar… simplemente una experiencia inigualable , quisiera agradecer a cada uno del personal por tan excelente trabajo y por darnos una probadita de lo que es un lugar paradisiaco ! 🙂

The best part of the home is the dock and the location on the lagoon. It was so private and beautiful. The home was kept clean and it was so peaceful. We had plenty of space for a family of 6.
The staff was kind and Alex made sure fresh coffee was ready in the mornings, a very nice touch. When I asked for something, it was taken care of quickly. Beto, Alex, Barbara were all very nice.
The house is too far away from Bacalar’s restaurants. We had to drive back and forth into town twice a day. It is unfortunate that the personal chef service requires that we purchase groceries ourselves. That prevented us from taking advantage of the service which would have been good for us to have. Also, we have two vegans in the group so we needed a menu that could accommodate the various diets — choosing one option per meal would also be a problem.
The massage service was nice but while we were getting massages, the staff had a baby with them and we could hear the baby crying during our massage for most of the hour.
The kitchen needs an oven. We purchased frozen pizzas for the kids to have but we were unable to cook them. Finally, the lack of a big bottle of purified water was a problem. We had to purchase lots of bottles of water for the family every day.
Thank you for having us. We were very lucky to have the time we shared there together.

May 17, 2022. Juan ManuelLa casa esta preciosa, como nueva, 5 recamaras muy amplias, todas con aire acondicionado, las áreas comunes preciosas que facilitan la convivencia familiar. Cuenta con todos los servicios como Netflix, XBOX, HBO, etc. Lo mas bonito fue la actitud de las personas que trabajan en la casa, que están todo el tiempo al pendiente de uno, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuestos a dar un gran servicio, esto vale mil¡¡¡¡¡¡. El servicio de cocina es excelente y es importante contratarlo para que pueda uno realmente descansar. El Paisaje no tiene nombre, el muelle precioso, el agua cristalina y de varios colores. Por la tarde se pueden ver changuitos y animales en los jardines de la casa. Preciosa experiencia familiar, los niños felices, repetiremos.

Leonardo YezanteNuestra estadía fue de lo mejor, Casa Pibe es el lugar más cómodo para relajarse con familia o amigos, cuenta con un muelle privado que esta en la laguna y su terraza tiene un jacuzzi excelente para ver los atardeceres, en la casa hay 3 personas de servicio que te ayudan en todo, mantienen la casa limpia y están atentos a cualquiera de tus necesidades. Las habitaciones son bastante cómodas y amplias, todas cuentan con su baño propio y excelentes vistas. ¡Esperamos regresar pronto!

El paseo en PONTON es super recomendable y salir al Kayak es un MUST…
La casa es muy cómoda, fuimos 12 personas, super comodos, nada hace falta en la propiedad, claro que debes traer todo lo que vas a consumir.
El lugar de disfruta muuuucho y en todo momento la casa estuvo impecable, pues el staff está apoyando en todo momento, super amables te acercan cosas al muelle, ponen todo de sí, para que tu estancia sea super placentera, reconocimiento especial a Beto y a todo el staff…-

We usually travel as a family (all adults) and bring a few family friends and had never stayed in casa pibe before but were happy to find it was as good as, if not better, than the properties we had previously stayed at.
The house itself is spectacular, the addition bathrooms in every bedroom with the new houses is a wonderful plus and it’s a great space to relax and disconnect. Despite how gorgeous the house is we barely used it as we were on the private pier or rooftop hot tub most of the time. The inclusion of small details is what stands out, from citronella in the fire pit to scare away the mosquitos to small dream dolls on arrival, plenty of towels and paddle boards and kayaks it truly makes it a stress free experience.
Despite all this, the service is really what makes it special. Every single person I’ve met who has helped us with our stay has been incredibly warm and welcoming and have made it possible for me to disconnect, relax and just enjoy my holiday.-

Incluso solicitamos el servicio de spa que también nos gusto mucho. Fue un viaje que disfrutamos mucho. Lo única sugerencia es que se cambien las almohadas, sobretodo de la habitación que esta en la planta baja, ya que están muy altas y no puedes descansar bien.
